SKODA LAURA 1.8 TSI STAINLESS STEEL DOWNPIPE DEVELOPED IN-HOUSE

High-flow N1 turbo downpipe for Skoda Laura 1.8 TSI, precision-fabricated from T304 stainless steel and TIG welded for maximum durability. Available in catted (high-flow catalytic converter) or catless configuration. Larger diameter design removes factory restrictions, allowing the turbo to move exhaust gases more efficiently and unlock Stage 2 power levels. Pair with Magnaflow Race-Cat or Flowmaster catalytic converters for optimal performance. Wrap with quality exhaust wrap to manage heat and keep EGTs controlled.

A downpipe is essential for turbocharged vehicles. Factory units are restrictive due to catalytic converters that, while effective at cleaning emissions, create a choking point for performance. Our aftermarket downpipe replaces this bottleneck with a high-flowing unit that delivers the gains needed for ECU tuning and Stage 2 power.

Catted vs. Catless: Catted downpipes retain a high-flow catalytic converter, reducing raw exhaust odor while maintaining a cleaner emission profile. Catless units remove all converters for maximum flow and power but produce noticeable exhaust smell. Choose based on your local emissions laws and driving needs.

A Stage 2 ECU remap is mandatory with downpipe installation. The tune increases power output and recalibrates the O2 sensor to prevent catalyst inefficiency codes. Without proper software, a check engine light will trigger.

Note: Aftermarket downpipes modify factory emission systems and will not pass local or state emissions testing. Verify your state or county regulations before installation. Not street legal in all jurisdictions.
